Baseball Drops 8-2 Decision At St. Thomas Aquinas
Chester, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport baseball team was limited to three hits on Thursday afternoon, as the Purple Knights fell to the host St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans, 8-2, in the opening game of a five-game East Coast Conference series. UB is now 13-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play. STAC ups its record to 16-12-1 overall and 7-4 in the ECC.
Senior Peter Barrows (Old Saybrook, Conn.) had the lone Bridgeport RBI on Thursday.
The same two teams will continue their five-game series with a single nine-inning game at West Haven High School tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m.
