Naglestad Named 2010 ECAC Division II Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year

Cape Cod, Mass.-University of Bridgeport freshman Markus Naglestad (F, Kristiansand, Norway) has been named the 2010 ECAC Division II Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year, as well as earning a spot on the 2010 ECAC Division II Men's Soccer All-Star Team.

The 2010 East Coast Conference Offensive Player and Rookie of the Year, Markus helped led UB to the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Tournament Championship Final during a season in which he netted 15 goals and had nine assists for a total of 39 points.  As a team, the Purple Knights posted an 11-6-2 overall record for the 2010 campaign.  Naglestad also earned Second Team Daktronics All-American honors this season along with NSCAA All-Region accolades.
