Waterbury, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport softball team split a non-conference doubleheader with the Post University Eagles on Sunday afternoon, as the UB rallied to notch a 7-6 win in game one, and Post captured game two, 12-1. Trailing 6-5 entering the bottom of the seventh, junior Emma Wojcik (Warsaw, Poland) led off the inning with a double. Freshman Kelly Olencki (Milford, Conn.) drew a walk, and after a fly out, freshman Noelle Cahill (San Jose, Calif.) tied the game at 6-6 with and RBI single, and senior Tori Tenzyk (Hawthorne, N.Y.), who went 2-for-4 in game one, ended things in the opener with a hard single to center.
Freshman Tiffany Irrera (Brooklyn, N.Y.) pitched a complete game in the opener to record her third win of the season.
In game two, Tori Tenzyk homered for UB's only run. Chloe Shill took the loss in the pitching circle in the nightcap.
