Prsicilla Dodoo Named ECC Women's Basketball Player Of The Week
She Averaged 19.5 Points And 9.0 Rebounds In Two UB Wins Last Week
Central Islip, N.Y.-University of Bridgeport graduate student Priscilla Dodoo (Worcester, Mass.) has earned East Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for her outstanding play in games from January 14-20, 2013.
Dodoo was impressive last week, leading the University of Bridgeport to a perfect 2-0 week in helping the Purple Knights top Queens on the road, 79-69 in overtime and defeat St. Thomas Aquinas at home, 82-65 by averaging nearly a double-double at 19.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. In the win at Queens, Priscilla scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and she followed that up with a 15 point, five rebound performance versus STAC. She also chipped in five blocked shots, four steals and three assists on the week.
This week, Priscilla and her UB teammates will play a pair of ECC games traveling to Rochester, N.Y. to face Roberts Wesleyan College on Wednesday evening and host LIU Post on Saturday afternoon.
