Leah Dunagan Joins Bridgeport Sports Medicine Staff

Bridgeport, Conn.- University of Bridgeport director of athletics Jay Moran and head athletic trainer Dan Smith announced today that Leah Dunagan has joined the Department of Athletics staff as the Purple Knights' associate athletic trainer.  Dunagan comes to UB from North Carolina State University where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer since August of 2008. 

Said head athletic trainer Smith, "We are delighted to have Leah join the University of Bridgeport and our sports medicine staff.  She brings a wealth of knowledge to campus having work with any many different programs during her time at North Carolina State and the University of Cincinnati.  Her work ethic and enthusiasm will serve all the student-athletes at the University of Bridgeport well."

A 2008 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors of Health Education-Athletic Training degree, the Ohio native also holds a Masters of Education-Health Education from North Carolina State University.
