Men's & Women's Cross Country Both Take Ninth Places At Father Leeber Invitational

Fairfield, CT-Both the University of Bridgeport men's and women's cross country teams finished in ninth place at the 33rd Annual Father Leeber Invitational hosted by Fairfield University on Saturday morning.
The top male finisher of the 8K course for the Purple Knights
for the third straight week was sophomore Brian
Bor (Eldoret, Kenya) who came in the 37th scoring position
with a time of 27:34.
For the UB women, freshman Jennavie
Orrell (Gloucester, MA) was her team's top finisher of
the 5k course with a time of 22:54 good for the 50th scoring
position.
The Bridgeport cross country teams will next be in action on
Wednesday afternoon, September 30th, as they travel to Waterbury,
CT for a dual meet with Post University.
