Sarah Santos Named East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Central Islip, N.Y.-University of Bridgeport graduate student Sarah Santos (Norwalk, Conn.) has been named the 2011-12 East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

A Doctor of Chiropractic major carrying a 3.79 GPA, Santos was named to the 2011 All-Conference Second Team after finishing eighth at the ECC Championship, crossing the finish line in a time of 20:00.79.
