Men's Basketball Falls To Bentley, 60-50, In NCAA Regional

Easton, MA-Senior Jason Westrol (Brielle, NJ) scored 22 points with six rebounds and added four steals plus three assists to help lead the Bentley University Falcons (23-6) to a 60-50 victory of the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights in an NCAA Division II Men's Basketball East Regional Quarterfinal game hosted by Stonehill College in Easton, MA. 

Westrol was joined in double figure scoring by junior Brian Tracey (Bow Mar, CO) with 145 points and junior Mike Quinn (Oakdale, CT) with 12 points.
 
Senior Kirk Williams (White Plains, NY) led Bridgeport with 13 points, and he was joined in double figures by classmate Steve Martin (Philadelphia, PA) who netted 11 points.
 
Bentley dominated the game at the foul line hitting 18 of 30 free throws; while Bridgeport went to the line once twice in the entire game going 1 of 2 from the stripe.
 
The Falcons also dominated the game on the offensive glass grabbing 14 offensive boards.
 
UB also committed a total of 21 turnovers to Bentley's 14 in the game.
 
Bridgeport closes out the season with a 23-9 record.
