Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for 2023-24

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The University of Bridgeport's baseball squad has earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for its achievements in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced on Wednesday.

The Purple Knights compiled a 3.16 team GPA during the 2023-24 school year. Earlier this month, a total of 28 UB baseball players earned recognition on the CACC's Academic Honor Roll (spring '24) while six were tabbed to the CACC's All-Academic Team.
