UB's Nicole Javinett Selected As The GEC's Specialist Of The Week
Turned In Two Of The Season's Best Beam Routines Last Week
Bridgeport, Conn.-University of Bridgeport senior Nicole Javinett (Marlboro, N.Y.) has been selected as the Gymnastics East Conference's Specialist of the Week for her outstanding performances in competitions that took place from February 20 through 26, 2023.
Javinett performed two of her best balance beam routines in competition this past week. At LIU, she earned a 9.950 for a near-perfect set, receiving a 10.0 from one judge, as she tied the UB school record in that event. Nicole took first place competing against athletes from LIU, Towson, & Brown. At home on Saturday in quad meet, Nicole performed an almost identical routine scoring a 9.775 to tie for first place with her teammate, Olivia Imbarlina.
This week, Nicole and her teammates are in action at Yale University on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Rhode Island College.
