Frazier and Sullivan Tabbed as UB's Purple Knights of the Week (Nov. 24-30)

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In recognition of standout efforts on the hardwood last week, sophomore Zahkiyyah Frazier of the University of Bridgeport's women's basketball team and junior Zay Sullivan of the men's squad have been tabbed as UB's Purple Knights of the Week for the period ending Nov. 30, 2025.  

Frazier delivered a strong week for UB, averaging 8.5 points and 11.5 rebounds during the team's 1-1 stretch. She shot an efficient 8-for-14 from the field across the two games and added a career-high four steals in Sunday's matchup at SNHU. Her presence on the glass continues to stand out, as she currently ranks second in the CACC with 12.8 rebounds per game.

Sullivan also turned in a strong week for UB, averaging 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal during the team's 1-1 stretch. He was highly efficient, shooting 9-for-17 from the field and knocking down 6-of-11 attempts from three. His performance added to what has been an impressive season to date, as he currently ranks ninth in the CACC in scoring (15.6 ppg) and second in made three-pointers (14).
