Baseball Earns Second Straight ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award
Purple Knights posted 3.21 GPA during 2024-25 school year.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The University of Bridgeport's baseball squad was honored for its performances in the classroom on Wednesday as it was selected as a 2024-25 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award winner.
The Purple Knights put together a 3.21 team GPA during the 2024-25 school year to pick up the award for a second straight year. A total of 26 Bridgeport baseball players recently earned recognition on the CACC's Spring 2025 Academic Honor Roll.
