Baseball Nabs Third Straight ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award
Purple Knights finish 2025-26 school year with team GPA of 3.23.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The University of Bridgeport baseball team continued its tradition of academic excellence this week, earning the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the third consecutive year.
The Purple Knights compiled a 3.23 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, with 16 student-athletes posting spring semester GPAs of 3.5 or higher.
Additionally, a total of 30 Bridgeport baseball players recently earned recognition on the CACC's Spring 2026 Academic Honor Roll.
