BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In recognition of one of the most consistent seasons in the league this year, graduate student Jason Edokpayi of the University of Bridgeport's men's basketball team has been named to the CACC's All-Conference Second Team for 2025-26.
After being a major part of UB's CACC Championship team a year ago, Edokpayi raised his game even further during the 2025-26 campaign. He led the Purple Knights in scoring (15.9 ppg), rebounding (7.9 rpg) and blocks (1.9 bpg), establishing himself as UB's top contributor on both ends of the floor.
Edokpayi elevated his performance even further during conference play, averaging 17.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.0 blocks across 20 CACC contests.
Among conference leaders, he finished fourth in rebounding, second in blocks and seventh in scoring. Edokpayi closed the year on an impressive stretch of 22 consecutive games scoring in double figures while also recording seven double-doubles.
Edokpayi surpassed the 20-point mark six times during the season, highlighted by a career-high 32-point performance in the Purple Knights' season finale at Goldey-Beacom.
He finishes his sensational two years with UB (58 games) with averages of 12.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while shooting 50.8% percent from the floor.
