Men's Basketball Puts Four on 2025-26 NABC Honors Court
Gabe Charleston, Gabe Franklin, Matt Gonzalez & Jaheem Tyson all recognized for terrific academic performance.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - In recognition of superb efforts in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, four members of the University of Bridgeport men's basketball team have earned spots on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
Gabe Charleston, Gabe Franklin, Matt Gonzalez and Jaheem Tyson each concluded the academic year with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.2 or higher.
University of Bridgeport's 2025-26 NABC Honors Court Recipients:
Gabe Charleston - Graduate Student | MBA | 4.0 GPA
Gabe Franklin - Graduate Student | MBA | 3.72 GPA
Matt Gonzalez – Senior | Finance | 3.31 GPA
Jaheem Tyson – Senior | Finance | 3.95 GPA
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
