Men's Lacrosse Nabs Second Straight USILA Academic Team Award
Purple Knights posted a 3.28 GPA during the 2024-25 school year.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Continuing a tradition of terrific performances in the classroom, the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse squad was recognized with a 2025 USILA Academic Team Award on Tuesday.
The Purple Knights, who were also honored by the USILA last summer, finished the school year with a team GPA of 3.28 which is well above the USILA's qualifying mark of 3.0. Individually, eight Purple Knights were recently named to the CACC's Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team.
Additionally, UB men's lacrosse put 21 student-athletes on the CACC's Academic Honor Roll following the fall 2024 semester.
