ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Playing a third straight non-conference game to start the season, the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team (1-2) endured an 18-2 loss at No. 12 nationally ranked Molloy on Wednesday afternoon.
UB's lone offense came in the fourth quarter when Noah Beard and Ashton Lankowski each scored unassisted goals, marking their third and second tallies of the season respectively.
Liam O'Neill led the Purple Knights defensively with a team-high seven ground balls while six different UB players recorded one caused turnover apiece.
In goal, Matthew Hughes made 15 saves in net to raise his total to 31 stops over the last two contests.
