Juniors Luka Ivanovic And Jay Abreu Earn Spots On 2015 ECC All-Confernce Men's Soccer Teams

Ivanovic Named First Team All-Conference And Abreu Selected Second Team All-ECC

Central Islip, N.Y.-A pair of University of Bridgeport men's soccer standouts earned places on the 2015 All-East Coast Conference Teams that were announced on Monday afternoon. Junior forward Luka Ivanovic (Belgrade, Serbia) was named First Team All-ECC and classmate, midfielder Jay Abreu (Sao Paulo, Brazil) was selected to the Second Team All-ECC squad.

Ivanovic led Bridgeport is scoring during 2015 scoring a team-high 10 goals with two assists for a team-leading 22 points, as the Purple Knight went 10-7-0 overall and 6-4-0 in conference play earning a spot in this year's ECC Championship Tournament.

Abreu had a fine season both on offense and defense form the UB midfield contributing a goal and an assists for three points.
