Men's Soccer's Beatrix Named CACC Co-Player of the Week
Beatrix was previously selected as the CACC Rookie of the Week on Sept. 16.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – After helping the Purple Knights to a pair of victories last week, Enzo Beatrix of the University of Bridgeport's men's soccer team has been named the CACC's Co-Player and Co-Rookie of the Week. This is the second such award for Beatrix as he was also selected as the CACC Rookie of the Week on Sept. 16.
Beatrix was one of the offensive sparks for UB during wins over Bloomfield and Jefferson last week. The Frenchman totaled three goals, including both tallies in a 2-0 win at previously undefeated Jefferson on Saturday. Beatrix now leads the Purple Knights this season with 12 points off five goals and two assists.
Beatrix and the rest of Bridgeport's men's soccer team will return to action on Wednesday afternoon. The Purple Knights are set to host SNHU at 3 p.m.
