Freshman Jennine Walsh Named ECC Softball Rookie Of The Week
Teammate Stephanie Pearce Selected To ECC Honor Roll

Central Islip, N.Y.- University of Bridgeport softball standout pitcher Jennine Walsh (Langley, B.C., Canada) has been selected as this East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for her outstanding play during the Purple Knights' Spring Trip to Florida last week.
Walsh was outstanding in her college debut in Florida, going 3-1 with an ERA of 1.98. She struck out 32 hitters in her time in the circle.
Teammate Stephanie Pearce (Sr., Surrey, England) was named to the ECC Honor Roll as she batted .435 last week.
