Junior Kaite Burawski Selected As ECC Softball Pitcher Of the Week
She Has Now Earned The Award Three Times So Far In 2022

West Babylon, N.Y.-For the third time this season, University of Bridgeport junior Kaite Burawski (Hartley, Del.) has been selected as the East Coast Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week; this time for her outstanding play in games from march 28 through April 3, 2022.
Burawski went 2-0 last week, firing complete games in both of her starts, with a 1.34 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 15.2 innings pitched. On the season, she now has 10 wins and pitched 13 complete games with a 1.70 ERA. Kaite is one of the nation's leaders in strikeouts per seven innings and total strikeouts so far in 2022, as she has 178 Ks in 103 innings pitched.
