Softball's Mya Jones Named CACC Player And Rookie Of The Week
Batted .688 With 15 Runs Batted In And Two Home Runs In Eight Games Last Week

New Haven, Conn.-University of Bridgeport softball standout Mya Jones (Fr., Milford, Conn.) has been recognized for her outstanding performance on the diamond in games that took place from April 17 through 23, 2023 with her selection as both Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Softball Player and Rookie of the Week.
In eight games last week, Mya put up video game numbers, as she batted .688 (22-of-32) with 15 runs batted in and two home runs. She also slugged 1.000 and posted an impressive .706 on-base percentage.
Jones also scored eight runs on the week.
