Bridgeport Softball's Burawski, D'Amato and Kim Named CSC Academic All-District
The trio was also named to the CACC's All-Academic Team earlier this week.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Two days after being recognized by the CACC for their academic prowess, three members of the University of Bridgeport's softball team have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II Academic All-District Team.
Kaite Burawski, Madison D'Amato, and Hailey Kim, who were also selected to the CACC's All-Academic Team earlier this week, were each honored by the CSC with All-District accolades.

Madison D'Amato | Junior | 3.73 GPA | Health Science
- Batted .303 while leading the team in walks (24) and runs scored (39)
- Recorded 17 RBIs and 18 stolen bases
- 2022 ECC Rookie of the Year and First-Team All-ECC selection
Hailey Kim | Senior | 3.97 GPA | Health Science
- Batted .339 while starting 49 games at second base
- 26 runs scored, 12 RBIs and nine steals
- Finished career with 151 hits
- Three-time NFCA Scholar Athlete
- Second-team All-CACC selection in 2023

Through the Academic All-America program, CSC names separate Academic All-District and Academic All-America teams at each the NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III levels, while the College Division team combines NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.
