GAME ONE – Bridgeport 11, Dominican 0 (5 Innings)
The Purple Knights broke the game open in the second inning, erupting for 10 runs—all with two outs—to seize full control.

The second-inning surge featured contributions throughout the lineup, highlighted by RBI knocks from Jones, Philippou, and Mongrain as UB strung together eight hits in the frame alone. Philippou added another RBI single in the fourth to cap the scoring.
In the circle, Vise Zarate was dominant once again, tossing five shutout innings to secure her CACC-leading 14th win of the season. She allowed just four hits while striking out three.

Much like the opener, the Purple Knights did their damage early, exploding for seven runs in the second inning before tacking on four more in the third.
The highlight of the outburst came off the bat of Sydnee Perreault, who launched a grand slam in the second inning—her team-leading ninth home run of the season (2nd in CACC).
Perreault added an RBI single in the third and finished with a game-high five RBIs.
Thibodeaux continued her strong day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while McKenzie Morgan and Isabella Benjamin each contributed RBI singles as part of UB's balanced offensive attack.
