UB Women's Basketball Spreads Holiday Cheer Through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program
Purple Knights Help With Campus-Wide Effort To Assist Local Youths

Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's basketball team helped spread a bit of holiday cheer to some less fortunate children in the Bridgeport-area by taking part in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree on campus.
Said head coach Stephanie Del Preore, "I'm so proud of our team for participating in this great program. The holidays are a special time of year, and for out student-athletes to help put a smile on a child's face is awesome. It shows what a group of quality women I have the privilege to coach."
The UB women's basketball team returns to the court on Wednesday, December 19 when the Purple Knights host American International College. Game time in Hubbell Gym is set for 6:00 p.m.
