Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team is ranked number one in the nation in this week's USAG rankings released on January, 26, 2015. UB is ranked number one with a team average score of 191.750, and Brown University is ranked number two in the nation with a team average of 191.725. Bridgeport is the six-time defending USAG Women's Collegiate Team National Champions.
Also Bridgeport senior Sasha Tsikhanovich (Marysville, Ohio) is ranked number four nationally amongst all women's collegiate gymnasts in the floor exercise with an average score of 9.913.
