Purple Knights Sweep Corvias ECAC Division II Women's Gymnasts of the Week Awards
Sasha Tsikhanovich, Randi Cutolo, Hope Tralli And Carol Chiles Receive Weekly ECAC Accolades
Danbury, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team has swept this week's Corvias ECAC Division II Women's Gymnasts of the Week Awards. Senior Sasha Tsikhanovich (Marysville, Ohio) has been named Gymnast of the Week, junior Randi Cutolo (South Jordan, Utah) has earned Specialist of the Week, sophomore Hope Tralli (Croton-On-Hudson, N.Y.) picked up the Coaches Choice Award and freshman Carol Chiles (Fairfield, Calif.) picked up the Rookie of the Week Award.

Gymnast of the Week
Sasha Tsikhanovich – University of Bridgeport, Senior, Marysville, Ohio
Tsikhanovich earns her fourth ECAC Gymnast of the Week honor after capturing all four individual events and finishing first in the all-around competition with a score of 39.475 at the Ken Anderson Memorial Invitational. The senior scored a personal-best in the all-around, breaking the school record, as well as performing a full twisting vault for the first time this season. Tsikhanovich finished first on bars (9.825), beam (9.875), floor exercise (9.9) and vault (9.875).
Specialist of the Week
Randi Cutolo – University of Bridgeport, Junior, South Jordan, Utah
Cutolo helped Bridgeport to its highest floor exercise of the season after earning an individual score of 9.825 at the Ken Anderson Memorial Invitational. The junior specialist continues to raise her scores week-to-week, setting the bar higher each week.
Coaches Choice of the Week
Hope Tralli – University of Bridgeport, Sophomore, Croton-On-Hudson, N.Y.
Tralli began the Ken Anderson Memorial Invitational on beam (9.7) and helped the Purple Knights anchor their highest score of the season. Tralli sustained a season-ending injury to her ankle in the first floor exercise and was unable to complete the routine.
Rookie of the Week
Carol Chiles – University of Bridgeport, Freshman, Fairfield, Calif.
Chiles earned her way into the Purple Knights' competitive lineup at the Ken Anderson Memorial Invitational last week. The rookie scored a 9.775 on beam to help Bridgeport to a victory in last week's competition.
Up next, the UB women's gymnastics team travels to Los Angeles, California for a quad meet hosted by UCLA on Saturday.
