Central Islip, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport women's lacrosse team, under the direction of head coach Kate Backman, has been predicted to finish seventh in the 2013 East Coast Conference race in a poll of league coaches that was released on Friday.
Bridgeport is scheduled to open its 2013 season at Post University on Tuesday, March 5.
