Nine Newcomers Join UB Women's Lacrosse Program
Five States Represented In The Class Of 2018
Bridgeport, Conn.-University of Bridgeport head women's lacrosse coach Kate Backman has welcomed nine new freshman to add quailty and depth to this year's squad.
The members of the UB Women's Lacrosse Class of 2018 are:
Kerry Mackinnon-Port Jefferson Station, NY
HS: Comsewogue High School *4-year member of the girl's lacrosse team
Awards: All County, All American Academic, captain of all three sports played, Most Outstanding Athlete at Comsewogue High School, Section xi Gold Key Award
Other Sports played: Volleyball and Basketball

Amanda Martinez- North Babylon, NY
HS: North Babylon High School *4-year member of the girl's lacrosse team

Intended major: Health Science
Katlyn Dempsey-Elmont, NY
HS: Sewanhaka High School *4-year member of the girl's lacrosse team
Awards: Team Captain, Team MVP, All conference
