Noack of Women's Lacrosse Named CACC's Player and Rookie of the Week
Wins CACC Rookie of the Week for second straight time to begin UB career.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following a superb performance in the Purple Knights' season opener against STAC, freshman Payton Noack of the University of Bridgeport's women's lacrosse team has been named the CACC's Player and Rookie of the Week. She was selected as the league's rookie of the week last Monday as well.
Noack delivered another sensational performance in UB's big win over STAC on Saturday, finishing with seven goals and an assist for eight total points—marking her second straight game with seven tallies. The standout attacker also tied for the team lead with six draw controls while adding a pair of ground balls. With the dominant outing, Noack continues to lead the CACC in both goals (6.0) and points (6.7) per game this season.
Noack and the rest of UB's women's lacrosse team will return to action on March 24 at Georgian Court.
