Goalkeeper Julia Hansson Named ECC Defensive Player of the Week
Her Strong Play In Net Helped UB To A Pair Of Wins Last Week

Central Islip, N.Y.-University of Bridgeport freshman goalkeeper Julia Hansson (Tocksfors, Sweden) has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her outstanding play in two matches last week.
Julia continued her stellar freshman season by allowing only
one goal in two Bridgeport wins last week. She blanked Georgian
Court University, 5-0, on Tuesday and made eight saves in a key 2-1
ECC win at Dowling on Saturday. The shutout at GCU was her fifth of
the season.
This is the second time this season that Hansson has received weekly ECC recognition.
