Bridgeport Women's Soccer Moves Up To Number 16 In The Nation
Purple Knights, Who Stay Steady At Number Three In The Region, Face Georgian Court And Molloy This Week
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, has moved up four spots in this week's NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Women's National Poll to number 16 in the nation after being ranked number 20 in last week's poll.
The Purple Knights, who are currently 7-1-0 on the season and winners of seven straight matches, host on Georgian Court University on Wednesday and travel to Molloy College on Saturday this week.
The UB also held steady at number three in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II East Regional rankings. The Purple Knights trail the College of St. Rose and American International College who are tied for the top spot in the region.
