Women's Soccer Moves Up To Number 15 In The Nation In NSCAA/Continental Tire Division II Poll
UB Faces Nyack And LIU Post This Week
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, has moved up one spot in this week's NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Poll to number 15 in the nation after being ranked number 16 in last week's poll and entering the national rankings at number 20 two weeks ago.
The Purple Knights, who are currently 9-1-0 on the season and winners of nine straight matches, play at Nyack College on Tuesday afternoon and host LIU Post in a huge East Coast Conference match on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m.
The UB women's soccer team also held steady at number three in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II East Regional rankings. The Purple Knights trail the College of St. Rose and American International College who are tied for the top spot in the region.
