Bridgeport Women's Soccer Moves Up To Number Six In The Country In NSCAA NCAA Division II National Poll
Purple Knights Are Now 11-1-0 Overall
Kansas City. Mo.-After being ranked number seven last week, the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team (11-1-0 overall record) has moved up one spot to the number six position in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II National Poll.
The highest Bridgeport has been ranked this season has been number five in the second poll of the 2015 regular season.
After defeating Georgian Court University, 4-1, on Monday night, the Purple Knights, under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, will continue a busy week of action as they travel to Nyack College on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. and play its regular season home finale against NYIT on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at UB's Knights Field.
