Women's Soccer Checks In At Number Seven In This Week's NSCAA National Poll

Kansas City. Mo.-After a 1-1 draw at Roberts Wesleyan and a 4-0 win at Daemen and being ranked number four last week, the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team (16-1-1 overall record) is slotted number seven in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II National Poll.

This week, the Purple Knights, the 2015 East Coast Conference regular season champions under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, will host Mercy College at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday in the semifinals of the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Championship Tournament.  If the top-seeded Purple Knights defeat Mercy, they will host the ECC Championship Final at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday against the winner of Thursday's other semifinal which pits LIU Post against Roberts Wesleyan.
