Women's Soccer Now Ranked Number 10 In The Nation
Team Travels To LIU Post For 2016 ECC Opener On Wednesday Afternoon
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of eighteenth-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, is now ranked number 10 in the nation by National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) in the organization's second NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Poll of the 2016 season. UB was ranked number four in the NSCAA Preseason Poll and moved up to number three last week, but the Purple Knights fell 1-0 at Adelphi University in the team's only action last week. Adelphi is now ranked number seven in the country by the NSCAA
This week, Bridgeport opens East Coast Conference play at LIU Post on Wednesday afternoon.
