Purple Knights Hold Steady At Number 10 In NSCAA NCAA D II Women's Soccer Poll
Team Travels To Washington State For Two Games Later This Week
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of eighteenth-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, remained ranked number 10 in the nation by National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for the second straight week in the organization's third NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Poll of the 2016 season. UB was ranked number four in the NSCAA Preseason Poll and moved up to number three two weeks ago.
This week, Bridgeport continues play in the State of Washington on Thursday night at Western Washington University and Saturday at Saint Martin's University. Thursday's match which begins at 10:00 p.m Eastern Time will be broadcast nationally on ESPN 3 and the WATCH ESPN app. Both UB and WWU reached the 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Semifinals.
