Purple Knights Finish 2016 Ranked Number Seven In Final NSCAA NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Poll
UB Completed the Season With An Impressive 18-4-0 Overall Record
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team has finished the 2016 season ranked number seven in the nation on the final NCAA Division II National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll of the season.
The Purple Knights, who won their second straight NCAA East Regional title and fell just one victory shy of making back-to-back trips to the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament Semifinals, finished the 2016 campaign with an impressive 18-4-0 overall record. UB won both the East Coast Conference regular season and championship tournament titles this season, as the team set single season school records for goals (80), assists (60) and total points (220).
