Dallas, Tex.-The host Dallas Baptist University Patriots scored a pair of goals in each half, as DBU posted a 4-0 win over the visiting University of Bridgeport Purple Knights on Saturday night in the Lone Star State. UB is now an even 3-3-0 on the season; while the Patriots mover to 4-1-0 in 2021.
Freshman forward Kate Thill (Goetzingen, Luxemburg) was busy on offense for Bridgeport on Saturday firing seven shots, four of which were on target.
Classmate Clara Karlsson (Umea, Sweden) made four saves in net for the Purple Knights to close out their Texas road trip.
Up next, the UB women's soccer team returns home to open East Coast Conference play next Saturday evening when UB hosts Molloy at Knights Field. Game time is slated for 6:00 p.m.
