Macedo of Women's Soccer Named CACC Co-Rookie of the Week
Macedo registered five points (2G, A) in UB's two games last week.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – After tallying five points in a pair of games last week, Luiza Macedo of the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team was named the CACC Co-Rookie of the Week on Monday. She was joined by Georgian Court's Chelsea Lavezzo.
Macedo, a freshman from Brazil, scored in each of UB's games last week. She also added an assist during Bridgeport's 6-1 win over Goldey-Beacom on Saturday. Macedo made the most of her first two appearances in the Purple Knights' starting lineup.
The University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team will return to action at home on Wednesday night against STAC at 6 p.m.
