MANCHESTER, N.H. – Taking a brief respite from conference play, the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at Saint Anselm on Wednesday. The tie puts the Purple Knights' record at 2-3-3 this season.
In a game in which offense was at a premium, it was a double-digit save performance from Angelina Griva that kept UB in the game. The sophomore keeper tallied a season-high 11 stops across 90 scoreless minutes.
Griva did most of her work in the first half as she finished with seven stops before halftime. The Greece native is now ranked third in the CACC in both total saves and save percentage this season.
