BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – After each putting together terrific 2024 campaigns, Brooke Boucher and Leigh-Ann Ramsay of the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team were each voted to the CACC's All-Conference Second Team on Wednesday. The duo combined for 12 goals and 12 assists for the Purple Knights this past fall.
Boucher, who led UB in almost every offensive category, broke out for 21 points during her senior campaign. She ranked third in the CACC in assists with seven while also adding seven goals. Boucher finished with at least one point in nine different contests, including a season-high five (2G, A) in a win over Goldey-Beacom on Sept. 21. She was also named the CACC's Player of the Week (Oct. 28) after tallying three goals and an assist in wins over Felician and Lincoln.
Ramsay, meanwhile, was also a massive contributor for the Purple and White this season. The Bronx, N.Y. native ranked second on the team in both goals (5) and assists (5). She was especially excellent down the stretch, totaling at least one point in five of her last six games played. Ramsay's top performance of the season came on her Senior Day when she logged two goals and an assist in a win over Chestnut Hill. Ramsay's career resume also features a CACC All-Conference second-team selection in 2022 and an ECC All-Conference second-team selection in 2021.
