WILMINGTON, Del. – Playing their first road game in over two weeks, the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team (2-6-3, 2-4 CACC) dropped a 2-1 decision at Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday.
Senior Chloe Oudin provided UB's lone goal in the 35th minute that evened the score at 1-1. She is now tied with Luiza Macedo for Bridgeport's team lead in goals this season (three).
Following nearly 46 minutes of scoreless action after Oudin's tally, Goldey-Beacom's game-winning goal came in the 80th minute.
The Purple Knights' offense put together a 13-7 advantage in shots and a 2-0 edge in corner kicks. Goldey-Beacom's goalkeeper finished with four saves in the contest.
Macedo recorded two of UB's five shots on goal.
