Militrano of Women's Swimming and Diving Selected to CSC's Academic All-District Team
Amber Militrano (Sophomore - 3.59 GPA, Accounting Major)
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Rewarding her consistency in the classroom and in the pool this season, sophomore Amber Militrano of the University of Bridgeport's women's swimming and diving squad has been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for 2025-26.
Militrano, who owns a 3.59 GPA as an Accounting major, competed in 11 meets in the one-meter dive this season. She delivered her best performance at the 2026 Northeast 10 Conference Championships, placing sixth with a score of 201.20. That mark represented an improvement of nearly 100 points from her season-opening effort at the Fairfield University Invitational.
Criteria for CSC Academic All-District:
*Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
*An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
*Student-athletes must compete in 75 percent of competitions
*A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
