Bridgeport, Conn.-Senior Terry Masava (Nairobi, Kenya) slammed a match-high 28 kills with an impressive .442 attack percentage and added 14 digs to help lead the University of Bridgeport volleyball team to a four-sets, 25-20, 25-20, 17-25, 25-18, home win over the C.W. Post Pioneers in the team's regular season finale on Friday night in Hubbell Gym. With the win, UB moves on to next weekend's East Coast Conference Championship Tournament at New York Tech with a 22-3 overall record, and the Purple Knights wrapped up conference play with an 11-1 mark. CWP is now 19-11 overall and 5-6 in conference action.
Masava was joined in double figure kills by graduate students Agatha Baliddawa-Mukisa (Jinja, Uganda) and Ivana Kovacevic-Jurasin (Belgrade, Serbia), who each had 14 kills.
Sophomore Taylor McBeth (Langley, BC, Canada) led the Purple Knights defense with 19 digs.
