Ryan Thomas of Men's Lacrosse Named to USILA's Team of the Week
Totaled 11 ground balls and 9 CTs last week.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following a great pair of games last week, junior Ryan Thomas of the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team was selected to the USILA's National Team of the Week on Wednesday.
Thomas once again piloted UB's defense during a 1-1 stretch for the Purple Knights. The Long Island native totaled nine caused turnovers and 11 ground balls as UB split games with Franklin Pierce and Georgian Court. Thomas, who was named to the CACC's All-Conference Second Team last year, currently ranks second in the conference in CTs per contest (2.17) this season.
Thomas and the rest of UB's men's lacrosse team will return to action on Saturday night at home against Wilmington (6 p.m.).
