Men's Lacrosse Puts 10 on NEILA All-Academic Team
Purple Knights boast most honorees of any DII program in the NEILA.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – 10 student-athletes from the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team have earned recognition on the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (NEILA) 2025-26 All-Academic Team as announced by the organization last week.
The Purple Knights' 10 honorees, all of whom graduated with cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher, are the most of any Division II program recognized by the NEILA. The academic success continued last week, as seven UB men's lacrosse student-athletes also earned spots on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's 2026 All-Academic Team.

NEILA All-Academic Team CRITERIA:
Nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
