BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Facing the three-time defending CACC champions at home, the University of Bridgeport's women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-2 contest to nationally ranked No. 20 Dominican on Wednesday at Knights Field.
Tara Dimaio and Cassidy Dalton accounted for the Purple Knights' two goals, while Molly Blackadar recorded the team's lone assist.
Payton Noack led UB with three caused turnovers, three draw controls and two ground balls, as the Purple Knights held a slight 11-9 edge in draw controls on the day.
Dimaio also added three draw controls, while Emily Stuart matched Noack with two ground balls in the setback.
