ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Continuing a stretch of five consecutive road matches, the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team was defeated at Molloy on Tuesday by a score of 3-0. The non-conference defeat shifts the Purple Knights' record to 2-5-3 this season.
Bridgeport, which came into the night with a 1.30 goals-against average, surrendered a trio to the home side on Tuesday.
Molloy scored a goal in the first half before notching back-to-back tallies in the 75th and 78th minutes.
Bridgeport finished the night with just two shots on goal and three corner-kick opportunities.
