Women's Soccer Puts Five on CSC Academic All-District Team
Marit Blom, Hanna Florén Lemoine, Luiza Macedo, Rebecca Morris and Lily Rodriguez were all honored by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Recognizing their strong academic records and standout play, five University of Bridgeport women's soccer student-athletes have been selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team.
Marit Blom, Hanna Florén Lemoine, Luiza Macedo, Rebecca Morris and Lily Rodriguez were all honored by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, honor the nation's top student-athletes for their excellence both in competition and in the classroom. Criteria for the awards can be found HERE.
UB Women's Soccer CSC Academic All-District Honorees ⬇️⬇️
Lily Rodriguez | Sophomore | GPA: 3.68 | Major: Criminal Justice and Human Security
- One of three UB players to start all 18 games
- Registered three goals and three assists (both ranked 2nd on team)
- Made both CACC Academic Honor Rolls last year
Rebecca Morris | Junior | GPA: 3.64 | Major: Health Sciences
- One of three UB players to start all 18 games
- Helped UB defense that posted a 1.36 GAA in conference play
- Named to CACC's All-Academic Team last year
- Made both CACC Academic Honor Rolls last year
Luiza Macedo | Sophomore | GPA: 3.58 | Major: Business Administration
- Led UB in both points (12) and assists (4)
- Started 17 games, tallying at least one point in seven of those contests
- Made both CACC Academic Honor Rolls last year
Hanna Florén Lemoine | Junior | GPA: 3.61 | Major: Business Administration
- One of three UB players to start all 18 games
- Helped UB defense that posted a 1.36 GAA in conference play
Marit Blom | Junior | GPA: 4.0 | Major: Psychology
- Made seven starts in the field, six starts at goalkeeper
- Registered two goals – one against SNHU, one against Lincoln
- Tallied two shutouts as a goalkeeper
